My Story
I find myself an Unexpected Artist. When I think back, my last real art adventure was finger painting in primary school, so being guided to acrylic paint pouring has been an exciting new journey for me.
As a teacher of metaphysics and a life & mindset coach, I’ve been on a mission to create a world where everyone and everything can thrive. For me, living in the state of JOY is critical to creating a life I love and so each day I ask, “How can I bring more JOY to the world?”, then I’d do whatever I’m guided to do.
In late 2019, I started energy training and working with attunements intended to raise the consciousness of our planet and connect us back to our True Selves. A process whereby we get to remember who and what we really are and our purpose on this planet.
I thought, wouldn’t it be incredible if there was a symbol or an image that could transmit these attunements simply by looking at it. I asked my Guides if it was possible. I heard “Yes”, but I didn’t receive any such image and I didn’t think much more about it.
For Christmas in 2020, I received a paint pouring kit from my husband, Derek. It took over a month of me looking at it sitting on our kitchen table before I finally created my first piece of art. (You know, I had to get over all those crazy limiting beliefs like what if it doesn’t work out, what if I ruin it or waste the paint, what if it’s no good?).
When I finally did my first pour, I ran around like a little kid. I was so excited! I kept running back to look at it (yes, I was literally watching paint dry 😂), but it was so exciting. I kept dragging Derek over to see it! My spirits were flying high. That was the start. In my dreams, I was shown that my art was in fact the thing that would act as the activator. I saw how Spirit would work through me to encode the art in vibration; to be an energetic transmission to support each person who resonated with them in the perfect way for them.
Not only would each piece bring someone JOY through the art’s intrinsic beauty, but on an energetic level, each person would receive an energy attunement to reconnect them back to the essence of their being and support them in remembering and reclaiming their divine heritage.
I’m honoured to be able to do something that brings me so much JOY, while also working with Spirit to support a shift in consciousness on the planet & ultimately to create a world where everyone and everything gets to thrive!
